Data Integrity First
Every number on the platform comes from official, verified sources: IDX filings, Bursa data, and regulatory disclosures. We never use estimated or derived figures without making that explicit.
We saw how difficult it was to invest in IDX with confidence. We decided to do something about it.
The Indonesian Stock Exchange is one of Southeast Asia's most dynamic markets. Yet for most retail investors, navigating it meant piecing together fragmented data from multiple sources, without a clear, consistent framework to make sense of it all.
Monetix IDX exists to close that gap. We synthesise the data that matters: stock scores, sector strength, financial fundamentals, and foreign flow, into a single platform that makes informed investing accessible to everyone, not just institutions.
Our belief is simple: better data leads to better decisions. And better decisions lead to better outcomes for IDX investors at every level.
The team behind Monetix IDX had been investing in the Indonesian market for years. We knew the frustration intimately: hundreds of stocks to evaluate, institutional-grade data locked away or scattered across sources, and no clear way to build consistent conviction on any single position.
“We were spending more time gathering information than actually analysing it. That felt like the wrong way around.”
So we built the tool we wished we'd had. The first version was internal: a simple scoring model and sector view we used ourselves each morning before the IDX open. When other investors started asking about it, we knew there was something worth building properly.
Monetix IDX launched publicly as part of the broader Monetix platform, a suite of financial analytics tools built specifically for Indonesian markets. Our goal has never been to replicate what Bloomberg or Reuters do globally; it has always been to build the definitive data platform for IDX investors specifically, with the depth and local context that market deserves.
Every number on the platform comes from official, verified sources: IDX filings, Bursa data, and regulatory disclosures. We never use estimated or derived figures without making that explicit.
Financial data is already complex enough. Our job is to reduce cognitive load, not add to it. Every design decision, from bias labels to score deltas, is made in the service of faster, clearer understanding.
We don't build for traders doing 50 transactions a day. We build for thoughtful investors who want to understand what they're buying and why, and make decisions they can stand behind.
IDX has its own dynamics: foreign flow sensitivity, sector composition, and regulatory context that differ from global markets. We build with that specificity in mind, not as an afterthought.
The platform is never finished. We iterate on the scoring model, add metrics, and improve the interface based on how real investors actually use the data, not how we imagined they would.
We are a data and analytics platform, not a broker or financial adviser. We are clear about what our tools are and what they are not, and we design every touchpoint with that responsibility in mind.
